Ash Nathens is an independent illustrator living in Perth, Western Australia. He lives with his daughter Jasmine, and scribblegraph began simply as a creative outlet for them to share and enjoy. Ash is now working on his first book with the support of his many fans & supporters on social media site Google+. His themes vary but the observant may find many recurring references to sandwiches, mice, dead cats and Led Zeppelin.
Influences include Aubrey Beardsley, Leunig, Quentin Blake, Murray Ball, Jean Jaques Loup, Ronald Searle & Richard Scarry (and many others).
His favourite comics are Asterix (René Goscinny & Albert Uderzo), Calvin & Hobbes (Bill Watterson) and Footrot Flats (Murray Ball).
